THE AUTOMAGICS
HOW WE WORK

Process audit

One to two weeks at a fixed price. You get a map: what can be automated, in what order, what it costs and what it returns. The fee is credited towards the pilot.

What people usually arrive with

It is unclear where to start, so nothing starts at all.
Every vendor proposes something different and quotes a different number.
Inside the company the process is known in pieces, and each department has its own version.
The estimate of the effect rests on promises rather than on your data.

What we do

The process as it is

Step by step: who does what, where it waits, how long it takes, and where data is moved by hand.

Data, channels and systems

What is already collected, in what condition, which systems exist and what they expose.

Candidates for automation

A list with the effect and the cost estimated for each one, rather than a single large proposal.

The order of work

Where to start so the first result is visible in weeks rather than quarters.

What is not worth doing

We name the places where automation will not pay back. That is cheaper than finding out after launch.

The fee goes into the pilot

If we continue, the audit fee is credited towards the pilot. The audit is not a separate business.

What this looks like in practice

Typical scenarios in this area: what people arrive with and what we do about it. These are not named client cases, the confirmed work is collected in the portfolio.

Clinic
Situation
They wanted a chatbot on the site, because everyone wanted one.
What we do
The audit showed the losses were on the phone: half the calls at peak went unanswered.
Manufacturer
Situation
They asked for drawing recognition as the first step.
What we do
Parsing enquiries from email paid back faster. Drawings became the second stage.
Distributor
Situation
They planned to replace the accounting system entirely.
What we do
Integrations and data hygiene turned out to be enough. The replacement was postponed and a year's budget saved.
